The cultural and pedagogical purpose of our association, started by its founder president Jean Labre, was to create music schools and clubs all over France to develop all kinds of harmonicas (chromatic, diatonic, bands, ...).
France Harmonica sponsored many schools in many french towns : La Rochelle, Rochefort, Toulouse, Lille, Auxerre, Paris, ...
France Harmonica remained independent, and had no commercial constraint.
Four times a year, we used to publish "Echos France Harmonica" that was keeping its readers informed about harmonica in France and all over the World. This magazine was sent to all the members of France Harmonica, and in 23 countries already. Go to the dedicated page for further details.
A person who subscribed to France Harmonica was automatically member of the IHO (International Harmonica Organization).
